The Paper Mills, under new ownership since April 2026, takes pride in offering a true country gastropub experience — serving quality dishes made with locally sourced produce and a wide selection of wines, ciders, beers, and locally brewed ales.

Our Pub

At The Paper Mills, we celebrate fresh, locally sourced ingredients across a range of menus — from a classic pub menu with favourites like burgers and fish and chips, to a more refined restaurant offering featuring dishes such as steak and seafood. We also host special evenings and showcase seasonal dishes on our blackboards, ensuring there’s always something new and something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Menu

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Wansford, we’re open Monday to Saturday from 12pm until late, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. Relax with a drink or enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the village’s historic charm. Dogs are always welcome in our lovely garden — the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the local atmosphere.
